Academic Requirement:

• Valhalla Westchester College of Medicine (VWCM) has set forth minimum academic requirements and developed a list of required and recommended coursework for applicants to VWCM

• VWCM course requirements and recommendations are similar to those required by other US institutions.
  • A high school diploma is required (or equivalent)
  • Minimum high school GPA is 0 for a regular admission
  • Must take VWCM-EX, the entrance examination administered by VWCM

Application Process:

• For regular admissions, the process begins at any time since VWCM utilizes “Rolling Admission” Rolling Admissions is an admissions decision program that allows for a student’s application to be considered when all of the required credentials have been submitted.
• The criteria for interview at VWCM will include the following:
  • Completion and receipt of the VWCM application
  • The minimum high school GPA is 0 (on 4.0 scale)
  • Take VWCM-EX, the entrance examination administered by VWCM
  • Receipt of at least two letters of recommendation
• After the applicant’s interview, the entire application file will be presented to the Admissions The Admissions Committee will then vote to determine the admission status of the applicant.

Application Timeline:

VWCM utilizes the “Rolling Admission” system. Pre-Med Candidates are invited to submit their applications to the College anytime. However, to increase your chance to get a regular admission, students are advised to apply as early as possible. VWCM will then review the application and notify the applicant of their decision within a few weeks from submission.
